Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Police volleyball club head coach Fred Musoni is keen to see his men build on their unbeaten run the national volleyball league.<\/p>\n

Musoni\u2019s side started off the league campaign in high flying form after beating Kepler and IPRC-Kigali on Sunday at Gisagara gymnasium.<\/p>\n

The law enforcers now sit in third place with 6 points, and are tied in points with reigning champions Gisagara who lead the table on point difference.<\/p>\n

\u201cI encourage my players to remain consistent and try to get as many points on board as possible. What we have to do now is keep the same spirit and be focused on the next game,\u201dMusoni told Times Sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to win all our games; it will be a tough away match but we are looking forward to setting a record to win the league title.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police finished the 2023 league campaign in third place, losing the title to champions Gisagara VC.<\/p>\n

Format<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s league will be played in a home and away format grouped in rounds and, after all rounds, the first teams will qualify for playoffs while the teams ranked from 5th to 10th positions will be engaged in play-outs.<\/p>\n

In the playoffs, the first ranked team will play with the fourth and the second will be drawn against the third.<\/p>\n

In play-outs, the fifth ranked team will play the eighth. The playoffs winners in the best of three games will play the final whereas the losers will play the third-place match.<\/p>\n
