Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame joined over 1,400 delegates who attended the 19th National Dialogue Council, or Umushyikirano, which commenced on January 23 and concluded on January 24, with a focus on the country\u2019s progress in national unity and shaping the future.<\/p>\n

The two-day gathering is an annual national forum in which Rwandans discuss issues of national importance including national development, unity, and youth empowerment.<\/p>\n

Below is a pictorial for some highlights of the meeting.<\/p>\n

The National Dialogue Council that started on Tuesday, January 23 and concluded on January 24, brought together about 1,500 delegates, including leaders of the central government and local administration.<\/p>\n
