Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Gasogi United proprietor Charles Kakooza Nkuliza, alias \u2018KNC\u2019, has officially informed local football governing body (FERWAFA) and Rwanda Premier League Board about his decision to disband the club.<\/p>\n

KNC on Saturday, January 27, told the press that he is dissolving the club he has been investing in for the past half decade, claiming that his team has on various occasions been a victim of “corrupt refereeing.\u201d<\/p>\n

FERWAFA Secretary-General Adolphe Kalisa confirmed to Times Sport that the businessman on Tuesday, January 30, submitted a letter informing the federation that he is withdrawing the team from all football activities.<\/p>\n

“Yes, we received his request. There are steps and procedures required to to dissolve a team, so we are going to analyze if his request meets the procedure, then we will get back to him,” Kalisa said in an interview.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, KNC was expected to hold a meeting with his players and staff on Tuesday, January 30, to inform them about his final decision.<\/p>\n

However, Times Sport understands that the meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 31.<\/p>\n
