Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Irembo, the institution that provides digital government services, will take part in Rwanda Day 2024 scheduled for February 2-3 in the United States capital, Washington DC.<\/p>\n

Rwanda Day is an event that brings together thousands of members of the Rwandan community abroad and friends of Rwanda to discuss the country\u2019s development, celebrate the culture and engage with the President on issues of national importance.<\/p>\n

For Irembo management, this year\u2019s Rwanda Day will provide a momentous occasion to support the Rwandan community abroad in accessing government services that are offered on its USSD and web-based platform IremboGov, according to a statement announcing their participation in the two-day event.<\/p>\n

\u201cIrembo’s primary objective in participating in Rwanda Day is to extend support to the Rwandan Diaspora in navigating various IremboGov services applications and resolving any pending issues on services, including but not limited to identification, passport application, marriage declaration,\u201d the statement reads in part.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy facilitating access to these essential services, we aim to streamline the experience for our Diaspora community, enabling them to engage seamlessly with governmental processes from afar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rwanda Day serves as an opportunity to gather valuable feedback from the Diaspora, ensuring that the Irembo platform continues to evolve to meet their needs effectively.<\/p>\n

Irembo management sees it as an initiative that is part concerted efforts to build a bridge across geographies, ensuring that the Diaspora community is well-informed and motivated to engage on multiple levels.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis will happen through creating a dynamic and inclusive dialogue that invites the diaspora to be an integral part of our journey, contributing to our shared goals and aspirations,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

Career Corner at Rwanda Day<\/p>\n

Irembo will also take part in the Rwanda Day Career Corner, which will support recent graduates and seasoned professionals looking for job opportunities and link them with potential employers.<\/p>\n

“We are dedicated to fostering career development through Career Corner at Rwanda Day. This event gives you a first-hand look at the exciting possibilities at Irembo. Whether you\u2019re passionate about technology, operations, or customer experience, there is a place for you here,\u201d Patrick Gategabondo, the Chief Operations Officer at Irembo, said as he encouraged those who will attend Rwanda Day in Washington DC.<\/p>\n

Irembo management said it strives to \u201cenhance user-centric services through this collaborative approach and foster stronger connections\u201d with Rwandans living abroad.<\/p>\n

There are more than 100 services on IremboGov and 400 more are planned to be added by June 2024.<\/p>\n
