Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Police handball club have been drawn in the same group as rivals Nyakabanda and TTC Rubengera ahead of the forthcoming 2024 national Heroes Day handball tournament.<\/p>\n

The two-day competition commences Saturday, February 10, bringing together t 16 teams including 10 in the men\u2019s category, and six in the women\u2019s fray.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s clubs lined up to participate in this year\u2019s edition include: Police, TTC Rubengera, Nyakabanda, APR, Musanze Handball Academy, TTC de la Salle, Gorillas, Adegi, UR Rukara and Es Kigoma, while Kiziguro, Falcons, UR Rukara, Three Stars, ESC Nyamagabe and University of Kigali will be represented in women\u2019s tourney.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s teams are pooled in three groups. Group A includes Police, TTC Rubengera and Nyakabanda, while Group B has APR, Musanze handball Academy, TTC de La Salle and Gorillas.<\/p>\n

Group C comprises Adegi, UR Rukara and Es Kigoma.<\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s category, Group A consists of Kiziguro, Falcons and UR Rukara, while Three Stars, ESC Nyamagabe and University of Kigali were drawn in Group B.<\/p>\n

The group stages will be held at Kimisagara and Nyamirambo courts, while the finals are expected to take place at Kimisagara court..<\/p>\n

The best two teams in each pool will advance to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
