Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Israeli cyclist Itamar Einhorn took the yellow jersey after winning Stage 2 of Tour du Rwanda 2024 from Muhanga to Kibeho on Monday, February 19.<\/p>\n

Itamar, who rides for UCI Pro team Israel Premier Tech, outsprinted the likes of William Junior Lecerf and Pepijn Reinderink, both from Soudal Quick-Step, and Javier Serrano Rodriguez of Team Polti Kometa to cross the finish line first in Kibeho, covering 129.4 km in three hours, 17 minutes and 31 seconds.<\/p>\n

With the victory, Itamar became the first Israeli to win a stage in Tour du Rwanda. He is also the Israel National Road champion for the last two years.<\/p>\n

Team Eritrea\u2019s Merhawi Kudus, who is chasing his second Tour du Rwanda victory after winning the race in 2019, finished in the top 10.<\/p>\n
