Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>AS Kigali shot stopper Yves Kimenyi is training alone as he continues his recovery from injury which kept him out of action since October.<\/p>\n

Kimenyi underwent surgery on his torn tibia and fibula as a result of a serious collision with then Musanze FC striker Peter Agblevor during the Primus National League game held in Musanze in October.<\/p>\n

The Rwanda international\u2019s recovery is only getting better, according to sources, and he has started gym training earlier this week as he looks, forward to resuming first-team training in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling better now. I am doing individual training every day, especially fitness training,\u201d Kimenyi told Times Sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not sure yet when I am supposed to join the team\u2019s training. The doctors will let me know when time is right to return to full training.\u201d<\/p>\n

The shot stopper is doing workouts with the support of AS Kigali team doctors. The injury is said to keep him out of action for four to five months.<\/p>\n

“I missed many matches due to injury; I could not do anything to help my club. But I\u2019m recovering well and hope to start full training as soon as possible,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
