Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>National carrier RwandAir will suspend all flights to and from Mumbai, effective March 15 in line with its continuous service improvement strategy, an official has said.<\/p>\n Commenting on why the national carrier plans flight suspension to India\u2019s most populous city, RwandAir \u2018s acting Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Andrew Best Owie told The New Times that: \u201cRwandAir started this route seven years ago, and has continuously sought new ways to improve on its service delivery on the route.<\/p>\n \u201cHence, the need to source and deploy the right product to serve our esteemed passengers on the route has necessitated our action for now. Our present constraint to operate a non-stop flight to India is a major challenge which the airline hope to resolve in the nearest future with the right product in place.\u201d<\/p>\n On how the move could affect RwandAir\u2019s business, and the plan to deal with such an impact, he said that the airline is always assessing its routes \u201cto ensure we are optimising our network in line with customer demand.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTherefore, we have the right network optimisation strategy in place.
