Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>It wasn’t a bad weekend for Rwandan players plying their trade out of the country.<\/p>\n

Striker Arthur Gitego has been in fine form since joining AFC Leopards from Marines in January and he once again put up a man-of-the-match performance over the weekend by getting his name on the scoresheet as Leopards beat Nzoia Sugar 2-0. It was his fourth goal in his last two games.<\/p>\n

Warren Kamanzi also assisted an equalizer during Toulouse FC 2-1 win over Nice in Sunday\u2019s French Ligue 1 game whereas forward Quentin Rushenguziminega also scored in the Swiss fourth tier for FC Echallens.<\/p>\n

Belgium<\/p>\n

In the Jupiler Pro League, Hakim Sahabo replaced Japanese international Hayao Kawabe in the 88th minute as Standard Liege thrashed KAA Gent 4-2 on Saturday, March 2.<\/p>\n

In the third tier, central midfielder Samuel Gueulette saw 46 minutes of action for league leaders Raal La Louviere as they humiliated Excelsior Virton 3-0. Raal are unbeaten in the league so far this season.<\/p>\n

In the youth league, goalkeeper Matteo Nkurunziza and left back Yves Mutamuliza played for RWDM U21 who pipped Standard Liege U21 1-0.<\/p>\n

France<\/p>\n

Right-back Warren Kamanzi assisted Thijs Dalliga’s equalizer in the 65th minute and played full throttle as Toulouse came from behind to beat Nice 2-1 on Sunday, March 3.<\/p>\n

Switzerland<\/p>\n

At the Letzigrund Stadium, Joel Mugisha came in for Congolese international Meshack Elia on the 82nd minute as his side Young Boys lost 1-0 to FC Zurich.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Johan Marvin Kury missed Yverdon Sports 2-1 defeat to Winterthur through injury.<\/p>\n

In the Swiss Classic League, striker Quentin Rushenguziminega scored in the 21st minute for FC Echallens who lost 3-2 to Vevey FC.<\/p>\n

Ukraine<\/p>\n

Amavubi skipper Djihad Bizimana had 90 minutes of action for FC Kryvbas who lost 5-2 to Ukrainian Premier League title rivals Shakhtar Donetsk. Kryvbas played most of the second half with ten men after Hvorje Ilic was sent off in the 57th minute.<\/p>\n

Kenya<\/p>\n

Striker Arthur Gitego continued his impressive form for AFC Leopards in the Kenyan Premier League. He scored the opening goal in their 2-0 win over Nzoia Sugar. The youngster was named man of the match.<\/p>\n

In the same league, there was no Emery Bayisenge and Patrick Sibomana in the match day squad as their team Gor Mahia thrashed Posta Rangers 4-0.<\/p>\n

Iraq<\/p>\n

Djabel Manishimwe saw full time action for Al Quwa Al Jawiya who drew goalless with Naft Al Janoob on Friday, March 1.<\/p>\n

Macedonia<\/p>\n

Central defender Abdul Rwatubyaye played full 90 minutes for league leaders FC Shkupi who drew 0-0 with Tikves.<\/p>\n

South Africa<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari was in the post for TS Galaxy who lost 2-0 in an away encounter to Cape Town Spurs.<\/p>\n

Tanzania<\/p>\n

Namungo handed veteran striker Meddie Kagere a starting berth, but he struggled in front goal as his side lost 1-0 to Mashujaa.<\/p>\n

Morocco<\/p>\n

Left-back Emmanuel Imanishimwe was an unused substitute for Botola League leaders AS FAR Rabat who beat IR Tanger 2-1 on Saturday, March 3, at Municipal Kenitra Stadium.<\/p>\n

Tunisia<\/p>\n

There was once again no Bonheur Mugisha in the AS Marsa squad which lost 3-0 to Beja in the Tunisian Ligue 1 at Stade Azaiez Jaballah.<\/p>\n

USA<\/p>\n

Midfielder Sanders Ngabo, who is eligible to play for Denmark, Rwanda and Burundi, was not in the Philadelphia Union match day squad that drew 1-1 with Sporting Kansas at the Children Mercy Stadium in Kansas City.<\/p>\n
