Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Police FC midfielder Djibrine Akuki Abubakar has said that everyone in the dressing room is not happy with the club’s abysmal output in the ongoing 2023\/24 Primus National League.<\/p>\n

Abubakar scored the consolation goal as Police suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Kiyovu SC on Saturday, a result that extended their winless streak to eight league matches.<\/p>\n

The Nigerian midfielder admitted that the players do not know the problem exactly despite giving their 100 percent on the field.<\/p>\n

“It has been really tough. We, the players, are not happy either,” Abubakar told Times Sport.<\/p>\n

“And we don’t know what is really going on because we are doing our best on the pitch but, in the end, the result turns out to be really bad for us.”<\/p>\n

Abubakar insists Police lost the majority of the games on small details and not because the players\u2019 level is below par.<\/p>\n

He, however, trusts the coaches are working assiduously to bring the team back to winning ways.<\/p>\n

“Sometimes a little mistake we make turns against us but I believe the coaches are doing their best to find the solution so that we can get better results in the remaining fixtures,” he added.<\/p>\n

Police FC are fifth on the league table with 33 points from 23 games. From the past eight games, Vincent Mashami\u2019s side has collected just two points out of a possible 24.<\/p>\n
