Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rwanda women sitting volleyball team head coach Mosaad Rashad Elaiuty has admitted that there are areas for improvement and the level that his ladies must reach if they are to perform well at the Paris 2024 Paralympics scheduled for August 28 to September 8.<\/p>\n

Rwanda women qualified for the 2024 Paralympic Games after they finished after winning the Africa Zone Sitting Volleyball that took place in Lagos, Nigeria, in February.<\/p>\n

Mosaad\u2019s team is now pooled in Group B at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games alongside Tokyo 2020 bronze medalists Brazil, Canada and Slovenia.<\/p>\n

Mosaad admits his team is in a very difficult group because the three teams are at a high level with a lot of experience.<\/p>\n

The Egyptian coach told who Sport Times that he asked for a training camp in Holland as he looks to work hard on the team\u2019s tactical and technical style of play as well as build confidence among his players to ensure they make their mark in Paris.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to some change in the plan because we have a Brazilian team in our group and I asked for training camp in Holland. The idea is to make the team perform better. I want to build a consistent team and finish as high as we possibly can,\u201d he said in an interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd, at a time when our team has not started preparations until this moment and we need a lot of time in preparation to overcome these great teams, but we will make every effort to achieve a good result\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Mosaad stressed the importance of facing formidable opponents in friendly matches to elevate the team\u2019s performance level.<\/p>\n

Rwanda women are set to make their third consecutive appearance in the Paralympic Games, having previously represented Africa at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.<\/p>\n
