Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The expanded campus will now house 1,500 impact entrepreneurs and the world class talent and employees who are building the future of technology businesses.<\/p>\n

More than 80% of the 4,000sqm additional space in the Norrsken campus has already been taken up.<\/p>\n

The move-in ceremony coincided with Founders\u2019 Friday, a monthly showcase of innovation and entrepreneurship, where innovators in smart city innovation in Rwanda were highlighted.<\/p>\n

KIGALI: Friday May 31, 2024<\/p>\n

In 2023, Norrsken House Kigali was ceremonially launched at the first edition of Norrsken Africa Week by H.E President Paul Kagame, president of the Republic of Rwanda and Niklas Adalberth, founder of the Norrsken Foundation. The official launch of Norrsken House Kigali represented the culmination of three years of investment and community building that has seen Norrsken grow to become the largest hub for impact and technology entrepreneurship in East Africa, and one of the largest technology hubs in the African continent.<\/p>\n

In March 2023, Norrsken broke ground for a new 4,000 sqm expansion to enable us to serve the needs of our growing community. This final phase represents the culmination of our $20 million investment and commitment to Rwanda\u2019s emerging status as a key player in how technology can shape and deliver solutions for people and the planet in Africa.<\/p>\n

At completion, 80% of the new building is already occupied, which is a demonstration of the growing community of innovation that is positioning Kigali as an innovation hub in the region.<\/p>\n

The expanded campus will now house 1,500 impact entrepreneurs and the world class talent and employees who are building the future of technology businesses.<\/p>\n

The welcome ceremony to mark the completion of the new addition to the campus was held as part of our flagship networking event, Founders\u2019 Friday which highlighted the development of smart city innovation in Rwanda, also served to cement Norrsken.<\/p>\n

House Kigali\u2019s status as one of the green and environmentally friendly buildings in Kigali.<\/p>\n

It provides a larger launchpad for the technology community in Kigali and the East African region at large to catalyse support for startups at all levels and stages.<\/p>\n
