Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Staff members of Choplife Gaming, one of Africa’s largest online sports betting franchise operators founded by Nigerian singer and songwriter. Mr Eazi, on June 4, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.<\/p>\n

During their visit, the team was guided through the memorial\u2019s exhibitions where they learned about the chronological events that led to the Genocide and the social and political factors that fueled it.<\/p>\n

The group also laid wreaths at the mass grave where over 250,000 Genocide victims are buried, honouring their memory and reflecting on the importance of peace, unity, and reconciliation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWords cannot express the amount of sadness I feel each time I learn about the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and most especially when I visit this site, while the rest of the world stood aside, hate grew and took over humanity and reason,\u201d Mr. Eazi said.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIn this age and time of social media, where we can learn, influence and be influenced, it’s our responsibility, every one of us, to do all that is in our power, no matter how old or young we are, to stand firmly against hate in all forms, tribalism in all forms and genocide.<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore, it\u2019s important for each of us to remember the words of the past to renew our minds, and renew our vows to be better, do better, and act against such repeating itself over again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m proud of the people of Rwanda for showing the world that it is possible to overcome such unimaginable horror and inspire the rest of the world to do better and overcome them. Never again!\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Eazi, the founder of Choplife Gaming, one of Africa’s largest online sports betting franchise operators and management at Kigali Genocide Memorial<\/p>\n

\u201cWe extend our thanks to the Kigali Genocide Memorial for providing us with a sacred space to connect with our loved ones in spirit and to preserve the history of our nation’s journey. We are also grateful to RPF Inkotanyi for their courage and sacrifice during the darkest moments of our history.<\/p>\n

\u201cI personally was only four days old during the Genocide and lost my father. At times, I held onto hope that I might reunite with him. Although our tears may flow inward, we stand together in solidarity with the people of Rwanda and all survivors of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Belinda Sablah, a Ghanaian living in Rwanda and Customer Service Representative, shared that it\u2019s her second memorial visit after visiting Ntarama memorial located in Bugesera. However, every time she visits, she realizes the trauma Rwandans went through.<\/p>\n

Sablah perceives social media as a platform that can be used to mislead or disseminate facts about history, especially in this age of globalisation. \u201cFor individuals and social media, only the truth will help others understand.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, one of the biggest takeaways is, that we need to be together, despite where we come from, ethnicity, and background as well. We should come together and love one another. Unity is a really powerful thing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Real name Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, Mr Eazi’s venture into the gaming industry began in 2017 as a brand ambassador for the betPawa brand. He eventually became an investor and shareholder of betPawa\u2019s parent company and became its licensed operating partner in five countries – Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Rwanda, and Benin.<\/p>\n

Choplife Gaming is known for representing trusted brands, adhering to high standards of operational efficiency, and complying with regulatory requirements.
