Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>For the first time in two years, Petit Stade indoor facility is set to resume hosting competitions, starting with the 2024 Liberation Day volleyball tournament slated for July 26.<\/p>\n

The indoor stadium has been undergoing a facelift since 2022 as part of extensive renovation works on Amahoro Stadium.<\/p>\n

The facility is now fitted with quality seats and the height of its roof was extended, and a better playing surface was installed. It now has the capacity to accommodate 1,000 spectators.<\/p>\n

The liberation tournament will take place from July 26-28, bringing together 12 teams \u2013 four in each of men\u2019s and women\u2019s categories.<\/p>\n

Police, Kepler, APR and Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will be contesting for men\u2019s trophy while APR, Ruhango, RRA, Police and are vying for the silverware in women category.<\/p>\n

Holders APR (men) and Police (women) will be looking to defend the trophies they won in 2023.<\/p>\n
