Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The event reflected on Rwanda’s remarkable journey from devastation to prosperity.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Mathilde Mukantabana highlighted the nation’s resilience and determination saying \u201cRwanda has been able to come this far because we owned up and took the lead in addressing our challenges.<\/p>\n

“The leadership of Rwanda has made a clear choice going forward; the choice to trust ourselves, expect excellence, and take ownership.\u201d<\/p>\n

She encouraged young people to use their talents to build a better world for everyone.<\/p>\n

Quoting President Paul Kagame, Mukantabana said:\u201cRwanda is yours to protect, defend, and make prosperous. It is worth repeating that real liberation only begins when the guns fall silent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRwanda has become a model of rising from the ashes and becoming a leader in all aspects of development. The phenomenal leadership of President Kagame led to the growth of its economy at rates that amaze many,\u201d she said<\/p>\n

Bonafide Tuyishime, who spoke on behalf of the youth in the Diaspora, narrated what Rwanda has been able to achieve in the last 30 years including the opportunities available today.<\/p>\n

\u201cA country where children can dream and dream big. And know that your dreams will be supported in all ways possible. In this room, we have a lot of young people who with the support of our country have been able to achieve those dreams. I am one such lucky person who benefited tremendously from the opportunity that the newly liberated Rwanda offers,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
