Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Turkey\u2019s cooperation with Rwanda in the field of education has been increasing in the recent years. Turkey is happy to have provided 230 scholarships so far to Rwandan students for undergraduate, Master\u2019s and PhD degrees under the \u201cT\u00fcrkiye Scholarships Program\u201d.<\/p>\n

It is with great pleasure I would like to invite Rwandan students to discover their potential with \u201cT\u00fcrkiye Scholarships\u201d, and announce that the applications for this year\u2019s program has started on 10 January. Applications will be closed on 20 February, 2022. Those who are willing to apply are most welcome to visit \u201chttps:\/\/www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr\u201d to have detailed information on the application procedure and eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n

With the accumulation of diverse cultures and the yields of deep historical roots throughout centuries and experiences in the field of education, Turkey attracts international students all over the world and is becoming frequent meeting point of foreign students and academics representing different backgrounds. In the last 10 years, the number of international students studying in our higher education institutions has increased by 75% and according to current figures, Turkey became one of the most international student welcoming countries in the world with approximately 150.000 international students, 17.000 of which are scholarship students.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcrkiye Scholarships is a government-funded higher education scholarship program run by the Republic of Turkey for international students. The primary purpose of T\u00fcrkiye Scholarships is to provide equal opportunities to successful students around the world in order for them to receive scholarship education at international standards.It is also aimed to develop mutual cooperation between Turkey and other countries and to contribute to regional and global development in many fields from academia to art, from economy to literature, technology to architecture.<\/p>\n

After its inception in 2012, \u201cT\u00fcrkiye Scholarships\u201d received 40.000 applications from all over the world in its first year. With the rapid increase of the interest of diversified undergraduate and postgraduate students, the number of applications surged to 165.000 in 2021.<\/p>\n

T\u00fcrkiye Scholarships; In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate studies, \u201cT\u00fcrkiye Scholarships\u201d program also provides various modules for research and one-year Turkish language education for academics, researchers and civil servants in other countries.<\/p>\n

After graduating from an undergraduate or post-graduate program with \u201cT\u00fcrkiye Scholarships\u201d, students automatically become member of alumni of a huge global network of more than 150.000 graduates. An \u201cAlumni Association\u201d is established to keep this big and growing family connected.<\/p>\n

Candidates who meet the application criteria can submit their applications online through \u201c<\/b><\/p>\n

https:\/\/www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr\u201d until 20 February 2022. After that date, as a first step, the submitted documents by candidates will be subjected to an evaluation process. After the initial assessments, successful candidates will be invited to an interview. Interviewed candidates will be informed about the results following a final assessment.
