Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Kicukiro Primary Court will Tuesday, November 5, resume the pre-detention hearing between the prosecution and local showbiz journalist and vlogger Jean Bosco Sengabo alias Fatakumavuta.<\/p>\n

The hearing was originally scheduled for October 31, but the court decided to postpone it to give the defendant more time to look into the case file after he and his lawyers claimed that they could not access his case file until October 30, just 24 hours before the hearing.<\/p>\n

The lawyers further mentioned that some new charges were added in Fatakumavuta\u2019s case file making it challenging to review the case in time. They hence requested that they can be granted enough time to prepare for the hearing.<\/p>\n

Fatakumavuta was arrested on October 19 over charges of alleged cyber- stalking and public insult.<\/p>\n

His arrest followed multiple warnings which, Rwanda Investigation Bureau claimed that he disregarded, \u201cchoosing to continue his unlawful conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n
