Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>FAST-RISING ARTISTE Babo on Friday January 14, received a huge gift from her parents as they opened up a brand new fashion shop which is meant to support the artiste throughout her music career.<\/p>\n

\u201cBabo as our last born has proved her love for Rwanda as a country and since her dream has been to have a business in her motherland, my husband and I decided to make it true. This will be here to support her in her music without always waiting for us to give her money for everything.\u201d Sandrine Horn Murorunkwere, Babo\u2019s mother told The New Times.<\/p>\n

Murorunkwere revealed that her daughter is growing in the music industry. She added that although they are gifting Babo this business, it doesn\u2019t mean that all the financial support that they were giving the singer as her parents will stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t stop supporting our child. The financial support will always be there since we know that quality music requires a lot of money, we will forever be there for her but this time it will be easy if she tends to manage her business well enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Babo, this came as a blessing. She told The New Times that she will do whatever it might take to run this business properly, \u201cI am so blessed to have these kinds of parents. I will not only use this opportunity in my music but also in my daily life and I strongly believe that this will turn into a big business that will create other businesses and job opportunities for some people as well. I love Rwanda and I have been wanting to do business here. Special thanks to God and my parents who made it possible. I will put love into this and turn it into the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

Born Barbara Teta Horn, Babo said that just like her mother, she has a sense of fashion and likes seeing quality fashion trends. So, this will be a chance for her to experience it more.<\/p>\n

Sahorn Shop is located in Kigali, Rwandex. They started with female bags and shoes from Germany and soon they will include male products like shoes and accessories.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the beginning. We want to just train our daughter to get used to business and see her progress so we can do bigger projects with her,\u201d Babo\u2019s mother said.<\/p>\n
