Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rayon Sports Women FC Jeannine Mukandayisenga is undergoing trials with Yanga Princess, a top-tier women\u2019s football team in Tanzania.<\/p>\n

Times Sport has established that Yanga Princess were impressed by the Rwandan forward and are reportedly preparing to formally present an offer to Rayon Sports WFC to finalize the deal.<\/p>\n

Mukandayisenga has spent a couple of days in Tanzania participating in trials with Yanga Princess, the women\u2019s team of Yanga Africans and sources confirmed that the club and Rayon Sports WFC are close to agreeing to terms on the transfer.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Times Sport, Rayon Sports WFC Secretary General Bennie Kana Axella confirmed the development.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s true that she [Mukandayisenga] is undergoing trials at Yanga Princess, but we are yet to receive an official bid from their side,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest that Yanga initially offered $3,000 (Rwf 4,126,842) for the transfer, but Rayon Sports are demanding $5,000 (Rwf 6,878,070).<\/p>\n

Kana, however, dismissed the reports, saying, \u201cWe have not received any formal communication regarding an offer. Once we do, we\u2019ll assess it and decide in the best interest of the player and the club.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mukandayisenga is one of the standout players in Rwanda Women\u2019s Premier League this season, having scored 13 goals in just seven matches.<\/p>\n

She joined Rayon Sports WFC for the 2023-2024 season from Gicumbi-based club Inyemera WFC.<\/p>\n

Her arrival significantly boosted Rayon Sports WFC, helping them achieve the league title and the Peace Cup double.<\/p>\n

She also finished the 2023\/24 season as the league top scorer.<\/p>\n
