Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari has been amongst the list of goalkeeper names linked to a moved out of the club since the beginning of the year, according to reports from South African.<\/p>\n

Ntwari joined the Soweto giants for a transfer fee in the region of $400,000 to TS Galaxy at the beginning of the season.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old started out the season as the first-choice goalkeeper for Chiefs but after conceding 11 goals in seven matches he was then dropped. Bruce Bvuma has since taken over after a brief spell with Brandon Petersen between the posts. His last appearance was on November 2, 2024.<\/p>\n

Beyond all of that it has since been established that Ntwari\u2019s name has been getting thrown around since the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n

The most recent opportunity considered has been in Kazakhstan after the Saudi Arabia second division club in Europe which suffered a stillbirth.<\/p>\n

This information has been gathered from an intermediary based in Europe who says Ntwari\u2019s name was presented to his agency and will now be considered for the next transfer window.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is not our player, but his name has been presented to us by some people and his physique meets what is required of a goalkeeper,\u201d the agent told South African media outlet Kickoff.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been opportunities considered which will be revisited again in the next window, depending on what is said to us by those who brought his name to us.<\/p>\n

We have noticed that he has not been playing at his club, but the transfer fee mentioned is reasonable,\u201d the agent added.<\/p>\n

Ntwari is yet to find his rhythm as he is still adapting. He suffered an injury in Amavubi’s AFCON qualifier win over Nigeria in Uyo which has further derailed his progress.<\/p>\n

South African commentator Robert Marawa in December 2024 told Times Sport that the goalkeeper will bounce back and prove that he is among the best in the Betway Premiership.<\/p>\n

“Fiacre Ntwari is a good goalkeeper. Kaizer Chiefs wouldn’t have bought him from TS Galaxy if he wasn’t that good. He got the attributes of a proper goalkeeper; tall, lanky, you know you will struggle a bit when you come to a big team like Kaizer Chiefs. This is a team which is used to winning but for the past 10 years haven’t won a single trophy,” Marawa said.<\/p>\n

Ntwari was in the posts for Rwanda during the recent World Cup 2026 qualifiers in Kigali. He conceded three goals as Rwanda lost 2-0 to Nigeria on March 21 before drawing 1-1 against Lesotho on Tuesday, March 25.<\/p>\n
