Cette vitamine est fabrique\u0301e par l\u2019e\u0301piderme a\u0300 partir du choleste\u0301rol, gra\u0302ce aux rayons ultraviolets du soleil. Donc moins de soleil veut dire moins de vitamine D, un manque qui peut avoir un impact important sur la sante\u0301.<\/p>\n<p><b>Une vitamine incontournable<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Car la vitamine D est essentielle ! D\u2019abord, elle permet de maintenir de bonnes concentrations de calcium dans le sang, afin de mine\u0301raliser les tissus qui en ont besoin, tels que les os et les dents. Ce calcium est aussi ne\u0301cessaire pour assurer un bon fonctionnement des muscles et du syste\u0300me nerveux. Cette vitamine est aussi importante pour la re\u0301gulation des hormones et pour l\u2019activite\u0301 de cellules du syste\u0300me immunitaire.<\/p>\n<p>En conse\u0301quence, une carence en vitamine D peut avoir des conse\u0301quences graves, telles que des de\u0301formations osseuses (rachitisme chez les jeunes ou oste\u0301omalacie chez l\u2019adulte) ou des diminutions de la masse osseuse, augmentant le risque de fracture (notamment si la personne en question fait peu d\u2019activite\u0301s physiques). Sans oublier des troubles musculaires comme de crises de te\u0301tanie ou de convulsions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Un apport insuffisant dans l\u2019ensemble de la population<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Or, une grande partie de la population serait carence\u0301e en vitamine D. L\u2019Agence nationale de se\u0301curite\u0301 sanitaire de l\u2019alimentation, de l\u2019environnement et du travail (Anses) conside\u0300re qu\u2019un apport suffisant de cette vitamine est de 15 microgrammes par jour (10 pour les be\u0301be\u0301s de moins d\u2019un an). Cependant, son e\u0301tude Inca 3 de 2017 montre que ce taux est en moyenne de 5,2 microgrammes par jour pour les enfants de 1 a\u0300 3 ans et ne de\u0301passe pas 3,1 pour le reste des tranches d\u2019a\u0302ge.<\/p>\n<p><b>Comment augmenter son taux de vitamine D ?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Alors, comment faire pour atteindre cet apport suffisant, pre\u0300s de cinq fois plus e\u0301leve\u0301 que notre apport moyen ? Les deux voies les plus efficaces sont l\u2019exposition au soleil (car c\u2019est lui qui nous aide a\u0300 fabriquer la vitamine D) et la consommation d\u2019aliments avec une teneur e\u0301leve\u0301e de cette vitamine.<\/p>\n<p>Selon l\u2019Anses, une vingtaine de minutes par jour au soleil (ide\u0301alement en fin de matine\u0301e et de\u0301but d\u2019apre\u0300s-midi), vous assurent un apport journalier suffisant. Cela peut e\u0302tre comple\u0301te\u0301 par une alimentation e\u0301quilibre\u0301e, avec notamment deux portions de poisson par semaine (dont une portion de poisson gras, comme le saumon ou le hareng). D\u2019autres aliments sont riches en vitamine D, tels que certains champignons (girolles, ce\u0300pes, morilles&#8230;), le jaune d\u2019\u0153uf, le beurre et le chocolat noir.<\/p>\n<p><b>Faut-il prendre des comple\u0301ments alimentaires ?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cela peut ne pas suffire pour certaines populations qui ont plus de difficulte\u0301s a\u0300 absorber ou synthe\u0301tiser cette vitamine. C\u2019est notamment le cas des personnes a\u0302ge\u0301es (chez qui cette carence peut causer de l\u2019oste\u0301oporose) ainsi que les nourrissons, les femmes enceintes, les femmes apre\u0300s la me\u0301nopause, ou les personnes a\u0300 peau mate ou fonce\u0301e, pour qui l\u2019exposition au soleil est moins efficace.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ces populations, il peut e\u0302tre important d\u2019aider le corps, mais en privile\u0301giant les me\u0301dicaments aux comple\u0301ments alimentaires afin d\u2019avoir le bon dosage.
