{"id":12747,"date":"2024-03-31T12:49:16","date_gmt":"2024-03-31T12:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/sao-tome-e-principe\/politique\/les-vagues-de-chaleur-se-deplacent-de-moins-en-moins-vite-selon-une-etude"},"modified":"2024-04-01T02:12:36","modified_gmt":"2024-04-01T02:12:36","slug":"les-vagues-de-chaleur-se-deplacent-de-moins-en-moins-vite-selon-une-etude","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/sao-tome-e-principe\/toutes-les-actualites\/les-vagues-de-chaleur-se-deplacent-de-moins-en-moins-vite-selon-une-etude","title":{"rendered":"Les vagues de chaleur se d\u00e9placent de moins en moins vite, selon une \u00e9tude"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe. <\/strong><\/span>Les vagues de chaleur ont de plus en plus tendance a\u0300 s\u2019attarder au-dessus d\u2019une me\u0302me re\u0301gion, ce qui exacerbe leur dangerosite\u0301, selon une nouvelle e\u0301tude publie\u0301e vendredi, qui pointe du doigt la responsabilite\u0301 du changement climatique.<\/p>\n<p>Si de pre\u0301ce\u0301dentes recherches se sont inte\u0301resse\u0301es a\u0300 la fre\u0301quence et l\u2019intensite\u0301 des vagues de chaleur, peu se sont penche\u0301es jusqu\u2019ici sur leur propagation a\u0300 la fois dans l\u2019espace et le temps.<\/p>\n<p>Or les vagues de chaleur, comme les tempe\u0302tes ou d\u2019autres phe\u0301nome\u0300nes me\u0301te\u0301o, se de\u0301placent, a dit a\u0300 l\u2019AFP Wei Zhang, l\u2019un des co-auteurs de l\u2019e\u0301tude, publie\u0301e dans la revue Science Advances.<\/p>\n<p>Mais ces dernie\u0300res de\u0301cennies, les vagues de chaleur ont eu tendance a\u0300 \u201cse de\u0301placer de moins en moins vite\u201d, a-t-il explique\u0301. \u201cCela signifie qu\u2019elles peuvent rester dans une re\u0301gion plus longtemps\u201d, ce qui peut avoir \u201cdes conse\u0301quences importantes pour la population\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont analyse\u0301 les vagues de chaleur mondialement, sur une pe\u0301riode allant de 1979 a\u0300 2020, gra\u0302ce a\u0300 des mode\u0300les s\u2019appuyant notamment sur les observations de radars me\u0301te\u0301o et de satellites.<\/p>\n<p>Leurs analyses ont montre\u0301 que chaque de\u0301cennie, la vitesse de de\u0301placement des vagues de chaleur avait diminue\u0301 d\u2019environ 8 km par jour.<\/p>\n<p>Ils ont e\u0301galement observe\u0301 que la dure\u0301e moyenne des canicules e\u0301tait passe\u0301e d\u2019environ 8 jours au de\u0301but des anne\u0301es 1980, a\u0300 12 jours a\u0300 la fin de la pe\u0301riode e\u0301tudie\u0301e.<\/p>\n<p>Leur e\u0301tude a e\u0301galement montre\u0301 que les vagues de chaleur se de\u0301plac\u0327aient plus loin qu\u2019avant, et confirme\u0301 l\u2019augmentation de la fre\u0301quence de tels e\u0301ve\u0301nements.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont ensuite examine\u0301 le ro\u0302le du changement climatique dans ces changements.
