L&rsquo;Organisation mondiale de la Sant\u00e9 (OMS), qui convoque une r\u00e9union ce mardi pour \u00e9valuer si la variole du singe repr\u00e9sente une \u00ab\u00a0urgence de sant\u00e9 publique de port\u00e9e internationale\u00a0\u00bb, pourrait bient\u00f4t donner un autre nom \u00e0 la maladie.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;Organisation r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit en ce moment \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0changer le nom du virus de la variole du singe\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0Nous ferons des annonces sur les nouveaux noms d\u00e8s que possible\u00a0\u00bb, a promis mardi son directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, lors d&rsquo;une conf\u00e9rence de presse.<\/p>\n<p>100 000 doses de vaccin<\/p>\n<p>Pour rappel, cette maladie est le plus souvent b\u00e9nigne mais sa diffusion en dehors des zones end\u00e9miques, principalement en Europe, reste une source de pr\u00e9occupation.<\/p>\n<p>Elle se traduit d&rsquo;abord par une forte fi\u00e8vre et \u00e9volue rapidement en \u00e9ruption cutan\u00e9e, avec la formation de cro\u00fbtes.
