Africa-Press<\/a> – S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 e Pr\u00edncipe<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Le nouveau Repr\u00e9sentant de l\u2019UNICEF au Tchad, Jacques Boyer a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 sa lettre d\u2019accr\u00e9ditation ce vendredi, 6 ao\u00fbt 2021, \u00e0 Ch\u00e9rif Mahamat Z\u00e8ne, ministre des Affaires Etrang\u00e8res, de l\u2019Int\u00e9gration africaine et des Tchadiens de l\u2019\u00e9tranger. Il a saisi cette occasion pour r\u00e9affirmer l\u2019engagement de l\u2019UNICEF \u00e0 soutenir le Gouvernement dans ses efforts de promotion et de protection des droits de l\u2019enfant au Tchad.<\/p>\n

Jacques Boyer remplace Dr Viviane Van Steirteghem qui \u00e9tait Repr\u00e9sentante de l\u2019UNICEF au Tchad de 2018 \u00e0 2021. \u00ab L\u2019UNICEF ne m\u00e9nagera aucun effort pour mobiliser les ressources n\u00e9cessaires afin d\u2019accompagner le Tchad dans son devoir de garantir \u00e0 chaque enfant de naitre dans un environnement sain et protecteur et de l\u2019accompagner dans son \u00e9panouissement \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jacques Boyer.<\/p>\n

Son parcours Jacques Boyer a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 l\u2019UNICEF en 1989 comme Sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019Information et de la Communication au Niger. Avant sa nomination en tant que Repr\u00e9sentant de l\u2019UNICEF au Tchad, il \u00e9tait son Repr\u00e9sentant au Cameroun depuis 2017.<\/p>\n

Il a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 Repr\u00e9sentant de zone de l\u2019UNICEF pour le Gabon et Sao Tome & Principe (2013-2017) ; Repr\u00e9sentant adjoint au Nigeria (2010-2013) ; Repr\u00e9sentant adjoint en Ha\u00efti en 2010 ; Repr\u00e9sentant adjoint au N\u00e9pal (2007-2010) ; Coordonnateur de programmes au Cameroun (2003-2007) ; Coordonnateur de programmes en Ha\u00efti (2000-2003) ; Sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019information et de la Communication de l\u2019UNICEF en Ha\u00efti (1999-2000) ; Sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019information et de la communication de l\u2019UNICEF \u00e0 Madagascar (1996-1998).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
