Africa-Press – Senegal. The platform of the living forces of the nation (F24) announced, Wednesday, in Dakar, the organization of an international information campaign for the preservation of civil peace in Senegal, learned the APS.
« After the operation against the third candidacy, the F 24 will begin an international campaign of information and denunciation on the badly deteriorated state of democracy and freedoms in our country », declared the coordinator of the F24, Mamadou Mbodj, during a press conference.
According to him, it will be a question of « warning on the risks of destabilization of Senegal following the maneuvers of the regime in place to maintain itself by all means, in particular by an arbitrary selection of candidates for the next presidential election ».
Pour Mamadou Mbodj, »le renoncement au troisième mandat est un acte salutaire qui doit être suivi par d’autres actes en privilégiant la désescalade et l’apaisement’’. ‘’Le F24 va continuer son combat par une démarche intelligente, résiliente et stratégique, pour entre autres, l’organisation d’une élection inclusive, sincère, transparente et apaisée en 2024’’, a-t-il-ajouté.
