Africa-Press – Senegal. The under-20 (U20) teams of Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo drew the football tournament of the ninth Games of La Francophonie on Saturday in Kinshasa.
The DRC opened the scoring with Prince Aldy Soussou Ilendo, who scored twice during this meeting. He scored in the 27th minute.
Mamadou Lamine Diatta scored Senegal’s first goal in the 16th minute, the second being due to Amara Diouf, who equalized in the 71st minute.
The meeting took place at the Tata-Raphaël stadium in Kinshasa, the capital of the DRC, which has been hosting the ninth Games of La Francophonie since Thursday.
Senegal and the DRC will play their next match against Burkina Faso, for a qualification in the second round.
