Africa-Press – Senegal. La production de pétrole et de gaz devrait impacter l’économie sénégalaise à hauteur de « cinq mille milliards de FCFA », a soutenu, jeudi, le ministre des Finances et du Budget, Mamadou Moustapha Ba, sans préciser de période correspondant à cette projection.

« Ten percent » will go to the Intergenerational Fund, a special Treasury account that is not linked to the general state budget, noted Mamadou Moustapha Ba, according to whom « it is important to communicate on these aspects ».

« Sur les 51,8 milliards, les 14 sont des recettes non fiscales recouvrées par le Trésor public », a précisé M. Ba. Il relève que « même en ne recevant pas les 14 milliards de FCFA, le Trésor public ne connaîtra pas de moins-value parce que les dividendes qu’ont reçues des entreprises où l’État a des actions, a augmenté ».
Eviter la malédiction du pétrole et du gaz
“So, out of the 14 billion from the Treasury, there are no worries. There are 19 billion CFA remaining at the level of taxes and domains”, he indicates, before ensuring that to date, “taxes and domains are in balance from the point of view of their revenue objectives”.

« Nous pensons que l’avenir de la démocratie, c’est certes le jeu électoral, mais c’est aussi des citoyens qui connaissent leurs droits, qui posent des questions aux autorités », a dit le directeur exécutif de l’IBP, une organisation non gouvernementale à but non lucratif.
