“In any case, by Magal, prices will drop drastically and the market will be well supplied with onions,” he said in an interview with APS.
According to him, the current surge in the price of onions is observed throughout the national territory, given the scarcity of this product on the market.
“Prices currently vary between 21,000 and 22,000 CFA francs per 25-kilo bag and between 950 and 1,000 CFA francs per kilogram,” he noted.
However, « a very large quantity of onions is expected in the coming days to be able to supply the market », insisted on reassuring Moussa Sané.
