Africa-Press – Senegal. Moustapha Gaye resigned from his position as National Technical Director (DTN) of Senegalese basketball on Thursday, five days after his resignation as head coach of the national women’s basketball team, learned APS from good source.
In a letter addressed to the president of the Senegalese Basketball Federation, the former coach of the national women’s team invokes « personal reasons » to justify his decision.
Gaye had been the National Technical Director for three years. He combined this function with that of the main trainer.
In the missive he sent to the federal body, Moustapha Gaye « thanked » the members of the federation’s steering committee and wished « good luck to the governing body in achieving its objectives ».
