African Karate Championship: Serigne Mbacké Seck in the final

Africa-Press – Senegal. Senegalese karateka Serigne Mbacké Seck will compete on Sunday in the final of the African Karate Championship in kumite, in the (junior) category over 76 kg, after his victory on Saturday against a Tunisian opponent in the semi-finals.

After having already obtained two bronze medals in kumite among the cadets, with Fama Samassa De Han and Mouhamadou Moustapha Gaye, Senegal is therefore assured of a gold or silver medal.

Among men and women, seven other Senegalese karatekas will also compete on Sunday in the bronze finals in kata and kumite in the senior category. They are Maïmouna Niang, Makhtar Diop, Ndèye Codou Cissé, Ndèye Yacine Lô and Talla Razakh Ndiaye, in kumite and Oumar Diop and Aïssatou Simal, in kata.
