Africa-Press – Senegal. The Framework for Reflection and Action on Land in Senegal (CRAFS) organized, on Tuesday, a capacity building session on land legislation and regulations for the benefit of its members from Tambacounda. and Kédougou, found the APS.

« Today, we are in Tambacounda within the framework of capacity building sessions, which we are organizing for members of land monitoring and alert units », indicated the program officer at the National Council. consultation and cooperation of rural people (CNCR), Serigne Ségnane.

Speaking at the opening of this workshop, he specified that it will be a question in particular of reinforcing the capacities of the actors on “the land, the mining code and the forest code”.

“[These are] bodies that are supposed to follow the dynamics on natural resources. It would be good for them to understand a little about the legislative and regulatory framework that governs these different sectors. This will make their work easier for them,” said Serigne Ségnane, whose structure directs the CRAFS secretariat.
