Senegal Cup final: Jaaraf promises to move 10,000 supporters to the Abdoulaye Wade stadium on Sunday

Africa-Press – Senegal. Asc Jaaraf will move 10,000 supporters to the Abdoulaye Wade stadium in Diamniadio to push their players in the Senegal Cup final set to take on the Medina side on Sunday in that of the Stade de Mbour, club officials announced on Wednesday in Dakar.

“We need to mobilize all Jaaraf supporters for this final which will take place for the first time at the Me Abdoulaye Wade stadium. The objective we have set ourselves is to move at least 10,000 supporting supporters in addition to the many supporters who will travel with their own means to support the team, » said Pape Momar Lo, president of the organizing committee of Jaraaf during a press conference organized as a prelude to the final of the Senegal Cup which will oppose Jaaraf to Stade de Mbour.

« The objective is to deploy at the Me Abdoulaye Wade stadium the same atmosphere of celebration, fraternity and joy that the Jaraaf used to hold at the Iba Mar Diop stadium and to show that the team has a tradition of celebration and ‘organization of the Senegal Cup final » he explained.

Youssouf Dial, chairman of the football director’s committee and vice-president in charge of finance for Jaraaf, said that a budget of around 50 million CFA has been released to facilitate the movement of these supporters to the stadium (…) Mobilizing our supporters to go to the Me Abdoulaye Wade stadium is a big challenge in terms of budget for a Senegal Cup final,” he argued.

As part of the organization of this final Youssouf Dial also requested the support of other club partners such as the city of Dakar to seek a 16th Senegal Cup title, he said, assuring that the Jaraaf would still show a good image and a spirit of fair play in the final.

« Jaraaf is a very fair play club. It is important to win but also to show a good image of the Jaraaf. All those responsible are working to ensure that the Jaraaf preserves this state of mind,” he insisted.
