Africa-Press – Senegal. Senegal’s national handibasket team qualified for the semi-finals of the African Paralympic Games on Wednesday, beating South Africa’s team with a score of 62. points to 29, learned the APS of the National Paralympic Committee of Senegal.
The Handibasket Lions have qualified for the semi-finals before their last match against Angola, scheduled for Saturday.
They beat Egypt 64-62 in their first match. Senegal also easily won ahead of Kenya with a score of 103 points against 22.
The competition continues until September 14 in Accra, Ghana. The top teams from the tournament will represent Africa at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
