Africa-Press – Senegal. Senegalese international Sadio Mané expressed Thursday in Dakar his “fulfilment” and his “happiness” in his new club of Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia which he joined since the start of the Saudi Pro League season.
“My transfer to Al-Nassr was done quickly. It’s part of our job, but everything went well. I am happy. I flourish every day there. It is the most important. I’m happy to be in this club,” he said.
He was speaking at the end of a training session held ahead of the friendly match against Algeria next Tuesday at the Abdoulaye Wade stadium in Diamniadio at 7 p.m. GMT.
According to him, the Saudi Pro League is a “good championship which brings together many stars”.
“I had no difficulty adapting,” insisted the former Liverpool metronome who has managed five goals since the start of his arrival on Saudi soil.
Talking about his relationship with his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, Mané was full of praise for the Portuguese striker.
“Cristiano is a legend. Off the pitch, he’s a good person and I’m happy to play with him, « suggested the holder of the Socrates trophy which rewards the player who stands out the most in good deeds for a better world. .
Arrived on the 1st at Al-Nassr, Sadio Mané played 10 matches and scored five goals in all competitions. He is the second top scorer behind his club partner Ronaldo (six goals). Al-Nassr is currently sixth in the standings with three wins and two losses.
