Africa-Press – Senegal. The Tunisia team beat the Senegal team by 3 sets to 0 in the round of 16 of the 2023 African Men’s Volleyball Championship ( 1st Cairo , we learned Friday from the Senegalese Volleyball Federation (FSV).

The Lions were beaten by Morocco in their first match on Tuesday. The score was 3 sets to 0 (17-25, 21-25, 12-25). Rwanda also dominated Senegal with a score of 3 sets to 0 (21-25, 16-25, 17-25).

The Lions also lost to Gambia, 2 sets to 3. Having lost all their three matches, they take last place in Pool D. The Senegal volleyball team has never qualified for the Olympic Games, nor for the Men’s World Volleyball Championship.

She only has four participations in the African Men’s Volleyball Championship. The Lions took fourth place in Africa in 1976 and 1979. Twenty countries, including Tunisia, the most successful country on the continent with 11 trophies, are taking part in the 24th edition of the African Volleyball Championship.
