Apr\u00e8s s\u2019\u00eatre vu offrir un vaste terrain par le pr\u00e9sident s\u00e9n\u00e9galais, Macky Sall, en juillet 2018, la ville futuriste d\u2019Akon a vu sa premi\u00e8re pierre pos\u00e9e le 31 ao\u00fbt 2020.<\/p>\n

On s\u2019interroge sur le projet<\/b><\/p>\n

Cependant, plus d\u2019un an apr\u00e8s cette premi\u00e8re r\u00e9alisation, le site, pr\u00e8s du village de Mbodiene, \u00e0 deux heures de la capitale Dakar, sur l\u2019oc\u00e9an Atlantique reste en friche. Apr\u00e8s une ann\u00e9e compl\u00e8te sans activit\u00e9 sur le chantier, les habitants ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se poser des questions tout en gardant l\u2019espoir que la ville d\u2019Akon leur apportera des opportunit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Akon a re\u00e7u un soutien consid\u00e9rable du gouvernement s\u00e9n\u00e9galais.<\/p>\n

Crypto-ville<\/b><\/p>\n

Le projet est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 conjointement par KE International, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Los Angeles, et Bakri & Associates Development Consultants, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Duba\u00ef. La ville d\u2019Akon ressemblerait \u00e0 Wakanda, la ville futuriste pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans le film Black Panther de Marvel, aliment\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire et fonctionnant avec Akon, la propre crypto-monnaie du chanteur de R&B americano-s\u00e9n\u00e9galais.<\/p>\n
