Il faut juste avoir une vision \u00e0 long terme\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il dit dans un entretien avec des journalistes, en marge des activit\u00e9s de la BAL qui ont d\u00e9marr\u00e9 ce week-end \u00e0 Dakar.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, Macky Sall, a assist\u00e9 samedi au match d\u2019ouverture de la deuxi\u00e8me saison de la BAL, une comp\u00e9tition de clubs de basket-ball en Afrique lanc\u00e9e en 2020 avec le soutien de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration international de basket (FIBA) et la Ligue professionnelle de basket nord-am\u00e9ricaine (NBA).<\/p>\n<p>La BAL remplace la FIBA Africa Basketball League, version 2019 de la Coupe d\u2019Afrique des clubs champions de basket-ball.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sident de la BAL a salu\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence du chef de l\u2019Etat s\u00e9n\u00e9galais au lancement de la deuxi\u00e8me saison de cette ligue, signe selon lui de \u00ab\u00a0tout l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat qu\u2019il a pour le basket et le sport en particulier\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous amenons cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement, la BAL, pour faire vivre les infrastructures\u00a0\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 Amadou Gallo Fall, en faisant allusion au \u00ab\u00a0Dakar Arena\u00a0\u00bb, une infrastructure sportive inaugur\u00e9e en ao\u00fbt 2018 \u00e0 Diamniadio et dot\u00e9e d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de 15 000 places.<\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle ville de Diamniadio abrite en plus du \u00ab\u00a0Dakar Arena\u00a0\u00bb, le stade Ma\u00eetre Abdoulaye-Wade, inaugur\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment.
