J\u2019aimerais en faire une ville aux trois gares, parce que le TER viendra jusqu\u2019a\u0300 Thie\u0300s\u2019\u2019, a de\u0301clare\u0301 le chef de l\u2019Etat, en pre\u0301sidant un conseil pre\u0301sidentiel sur le de\u0301veloppement de cette re\u0301gion.<\/p>\n<p>Macky Sall proce\u0300dera, vendredi, au lancement des travaux de re\u0301habilitation du chemin de fer a\u0300 Thie\u0300s, une ville qui fut autrefois la capitale du rail ouest africain et de la lutte des chemins pour l\u2019e\u0301galite\u0301.<\/p>\n<p>En raison de la position de plaque tournante du trafic ferroviaire au Se\u0301ne\u0301gal en particulier la pe\u0301riode coloniale, Thie\u0300s est surnomme\u0301e \u2018\u2019ben deux deuk, niary gare\u2019\u2019 (la ville aux deux gares en wolof).<\/p>\n<p>Elle comptait en effet deux gares : la gare de la ligne Dakar \u2013 Saint-Louis et la Gare du Dakar \u2013Niger (Dakar \u2013Bamako-Koulikoro).<\/p>\n<p>Dans son propos liminaire, le chef de l\u2019Etat a rendu hommage, entre autres, aux \u2018\u2019ge\u0301ne\u0301rations de vaillants cheminots qui ont mene\u0301 de vaillantes luttes\u2019\u2019 pour l\u2019e\u0301mancipation et la dignite\u0301 humaine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pour plus d&rsquo;informations et d&rsquo;analyses sur la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/senegal\">Senegal<\/a>, suivez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Senegal.
