Africa-Press – Senegal. <\/strong><\/span>Sports Minister Yankhoba Diatara has invited the Senegal under-17 team to represent the country with \u201ca commitment to patriotism\u201d at the African Cup of Nations (CAN) scheduled for Algeria from April 29 to May 19.<\/p>\n

\u201cRepresenting Senegal in an international competition requires from each member of the delegation a high sense of responsibility and a patriotic commitment, backed by our cardinal values,\u201d he said during the ceremony to hand over the flag to the Cubs which participate in the African Cup of Nations (CAN) under 17 in Algeria.<\/p>\n

According to him, the team enjoys \u201cthe total confidence of the Senegalese people\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn return, the people expect you to represent them with dignity during your stay in Algeria, through your combativeness in the game, your spirit of sacrifice and overcoming, as well as your exemplary behavior,\u201d he told the Cubs.<\/p>\n

He invited the Senegalese delegation to \u00ab\u00a0have, in all circumstances, irreproachable behavior, remaining attached to the values \u200b\u200bof courage, honor, dignity and respect for the adversary and other actors\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Mr. Diatara also invited the team to show \u00ab\u00a0more rigor, discipline and humility\u00a0\u00bb, believing that \u00ab\u00a0it is only at this price that you will be able to overcome the various obstacles which will undoubtedly stand in your way. A journey that we want to end with a victory on the evening of the final of May 19, 2023.<\/p>\n
