This is the fundamental role of the Fund, but also of the town hall which must tackle it, \u00ab\u00a0he said after a tour intended to inquire about the progress of the construction sites. of the FERA in the municipality.<\/p>\n<p>In order to help achieve this objective, he says, \u00ab\u00a0the municipality is provided with a road sweeper to help it maintain the roads, but also nearly 234 roadmenders for the preservation of this road heritage, within the framework of the emergency program Xe\u0308yu ndaw ni\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese works have completely changed the face of Diourbel. And the people we met showed total satisfaction with the achievements,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>This project concerns a linear of 28.3 km of roads entirely financed by the FERA, for a total cost of 5 billion 150 million CFA francs, he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor of Diourbel, Malick Fall, underlines that this is an old complaint and a campaign promise, carried out by the head of state to make traffic more fluid in the large districts of the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0At the moment, the work is about 75% complete,\u00a0\u00bb said the head of mission in charge of works control, Khadim Niang.
