Africa-Press – Senegal. <\/strong><\/span>Fifty entrepreneurs from the departments of Louga, Lingue\u0300re and Ke\u0301be\u0301mer benefited from a training session in financial education, management of a production or processing unit and in marketing of products and services, we learned on Friday from Abdoulaye Diop, trainer at the Support Center for the Promotion of Rural and Urban Entrepreneurship (CAPER).<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are fifty entrepreneurs, the majority of whom are young people and women, who participated in these training sessions spread over the three departments, namely Louga, Lingue\u0300re and Ke\u0301be\u0301mer,\u201d he told reporters at the end of the closing ceremony of the training session.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that \u00ab\u00a0participants from the department of Louga received their certificates proving their participation in this training session focused on budget management, debt management and savings\u00a0\u00bb. They \u201cwill also benefit from technical support for a period of four months,\u201d he announced.<\/p>\n

Elle a invite\u0301 les autorite\u0301s et les ONG a\u0300 \u00bbsoutenir davantage ces genres d\u2019initiatives \u00bb, et a\u0300 les \u00ab accompagner davantage \u00bb, en leur \u00ab facilitant e\u0301galement l\u2019acce\u0300s aux financements (…) \u00bb.<\/p>\n

The director of the company Louga Energie, Green Economy and Services, for his part, declared that \u00ab\u00a0the training was very relevant because it meets a need of entrepreneurs, who are at the level of SMEs, who really need to be equipped to carry out their activities\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0We have the impression that the authorities most often tend to focus on the financial aspect, while there are prerequisites that entrepreneurs need, in particular training and formalization to carry out their activities properly,\u00a0\u00bb said he noted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat’s why I believe we were trained on an extremely important module, ranging from budgeting to the different elements of the budget and how to save,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
