Africa-Press – Senegal. <\/strong><\/span>The national senior football team of Senegal will face that of Brazil in a friendly, on June 20, in Lisbon, Portugal, we learned from a source close to the Senegalese Federation of football (FSF).<\/p>\n

The first friendly meeting between Senegal and Brazil dates back to October 10, 2019. The two teams left with a score of parity, 1-1.<\/p>\n

Roberto Firmino had opened the scoring in the 9th minute, before Famara Die\u0301dhiou equalized for Senegal from the penalty spot in the 45th minute of the match.<\/p>\n

Brazil reigned for several years at the top of the FIFA rankings, before being dethroned by Argentina, world champion 2022.<\/p>\n

The Selec\u0327a\u0303o now occupy third place in the new FIFA ranking published last April. Senegal occupies 18th place.<\/p>\n
