Nous sommes persuade\u0301s que la phase 2 de l\u2019approche Shep va contribuer a\u0300 atteindre les objectifs de la strate\u0301gie nationale de la souverainete\u0301 alimentaire\u2019\u2019, a de\u0301clare\u0301 M. Sow a\u0300 la ce\u0301re\u0301monie de lancement officiel.<\/p>\n<p>Il a rappele\u0301 que le gouvernement attend du Shep2, \u2018\u2019une consolidation des acquis et une mise a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301chelle au niveau national pour mieux impacter sur les conditions de vie des petits exploitants, contribuant ainsi a\u0300 l\u2019atteinte des objectifs de la strate\u0301gie nationale de la Souverainete\u0301 alimentaire\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>La directrice ge\u0301ne\u0301rale de l\u2019Agence nationale de conseil agricole et rural (ANCAR), Mariame Drame\u0301, a loue\u0301 les re\u0301sultats de la premie\u0300re phase de ce projet qui, selon elle, a contribue\u0301 a\u0300 \u2018\u2019l\u2019ame\u0301lioration significative de la production horticole\u2019\u2019 du Se\u0301ne\u0301gal.<\/p>\n<p>Elle a affirme\u0301 que ce projet est en phase avec les orientations de l\u2019ANCAR, qui a de\u0301cide\u0301 d\u2019engager ses agents afin d\u2019accompagner le Shep2.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019Ce projet encourage et promeut chez les producteurs, la mai\u0302trise du marche\u0301 avant me\u0302me de produire\u2019\u2019, a explique\u0301 Macoumba Diouf, le directeur l\u2019horticulture.<\/p>\n<p>He welcomed the collaboration between his services and ANCAR in the implementation of this capacity building project for smallholders.<\/p>\n<p>La premie\u0300re phase du Shep s\u2019est de\u0301roule\u0301e sur la pe\u0301riode 2017-2022, indique un document. Il rappelle que l\u2019approche Shep (Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment and Promotion) est un outil de la coope\u0301ration technique japonaise expe\u0301rimente\u0301 au Kenya, de novembre 2006 a\u0300 novembre 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet Shep cherche a\u0300 re\u0301duire le gap d\u2019information entre les producteurs et les autres acteurs de la filie\u0300re, a\u0300 ame\u0301liorer leurs revenus et a\u0300 les rendre autonomes.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet se fonde sur deux grandes the\u0301ories : l\u2019asyme\u0301trie d\u2019information et l\u2019autode\u0301termination. L\u2019approche est mise en \u0153uvre a\u0300 travers quatre e\u0301tapes et diverses activite\u0301s (partage de la vision, prise de conscience, prise de de\u0301cision et offre de de solution).<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of the first phase of Shep contributed to the \u00ab\u00a0satisfactory results of the Program to Accelerate the Pace of Senegalese Agriculture (PRACAS).<\/p>\n<p>Shep 1 reached 76 groups out of a target of 63, i.e. an achievement rate of 120.63%.
