It will be an opportunity to revisit history and culture, which serve as the basis for local development.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0The pre-colloquium that brings us together today is of great scientific relevance and a great opportunity for the emergence project that the Head of State [Macky Sall] is nurturing. It is an event of capital importance since it allows us to revisit the whole cultural history of Se\u0301dhiou and by extension of Casamance and Senegambia,\u00a0\u00bb noted the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>According to Habib Le\u0301on Ndiaye, this pre-colloquium, like the symposium itself, will contribute \u201cskills from all sides, from all countries, to express knowledge in its intimate honesty\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019Se\u0301dhiou est historiquement un carrefour intellectuel et culturel, mais aussi une re\u0301gion qui regorge d\u2019e\u0301normes potentialite\u0301s pour son de\u0301veloppement e\u0301conomique et social\u2019\u2019, a releve\u0301 le secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral du ministe\u0300re de la Culture et du Patrimoine historique.<\/p>\n<p>Il note que les organisateurs de ce pre\u0301-colloque \u2018\u2019ont comme ligne de mire le de\u0301veloppement de Se\u0301dhiou.
