Tine a invoque\u0301 des \u2018\u2019risques de troubles a\u0300 l\u2019ordre public\u2019\u2019 et d\u2019\u2018\u2019entrave a\u0300 la libre circulation des personnes et des biens\u2019\u2019, ainsi que des \u2018\u2019risques d\u2019infiltration\u2019\u2019 des organisateurs du rassemblement pre\u0301vu vendredi a\u0300 15 heures, place de la Nation.<\/p>\n<p>Cette manifestation est une initiative du Mouvement des forces vives de la nation, une organisation regroupant des partis politiques et des organisations de la socie\u0301te\u0301 civile oppose\u0301s a\u0300 une e\u0301ventuelle candidature de Macky Sall a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301lection pre\u0301sidentielle du 25 fe\u0301vrier 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00ab\u00a0risks of disturbing public order\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0hindering the free movement of people and goods\u00a0\u00bb are also the reasons given by the prefect of Dakar to ban the march scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. between the Saint Lazare cemetery and the Keur Gorgui city.<\/p>\n<p>Activists of political parties members of the Yewwi Askan Wi coalition are organizers of this rally.<\/p>\n<p>The march scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m., between Place de l&rsquo;Inde\u0301pendance and the Palace of the Republic, is also prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>Cheikh Niass, the CEO of the Wal Fadjri press group (private), is one of the organizers of this demonstration, according to the prefect&rsquo;s banning order.<\/p>\n<p>Mor Talla Tine invoked \u00ab\u00a0risks of disturbing public order\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0hindering the free movement of people and goods\u00a0\u00bb for not authorizing this planned gathering \u00ab\u00a0on behalf of the Wal Fadjri group \u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Communication, Moussa Bocar Thiam, banned the Walf TV channel from broadcasting its programs during the period from Thursday June 1 to Saturday July 1 , 2023, i.e. thirty days.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0The Wal Fadjri group has continuously broadcast images of violence exposing adolescents\u00a0\u00bb, maintained Mr. Thiam, considering that \u00ab\u00a0these images are accompanied by remarks [&#8230;] inciting violence and clearly bearing attack on state security\u201d, which the press group defends itself against.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pour plus d&rsquo;informations et d&rsquo;analyses sur la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/senegal\">Senegal<\/a>, suivez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Senegal.
