Africa-Press – Senegal. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Minister Amadou Ba on Thursday invited religious leaders to pray for the appeasement of the political space, stressing that it is in true peace that one can \u00bb build a prosperous Nation, work and improve the living conditions of all our compatriots\u201d.<\/p>\n

Amadou Ba s\u2019exprimait a\u0300 la fin de la prie\u0300re de l\u2019Ai\u0308d el Ke\u0301bir ou Tabaski a\u0300 la grande mosque\u0301e de Dakar ou\u0300 il repre\u0301sentait le chef de l\u2019Etat parti a\u0300 La Mecque pour les besoins du pe\u0300lerinage. Le PM e\u0301tait accompagne\u0301 des ministres de l\u2019Inte\u0301rieur, Antoine Fe\u0301lix Diome, et de l\u2019Environnement et du De\u0301veloppement durable et de la transition e\u0301cologique, Alioune Ndoye.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe advocacy of all religious leaders and their prayers are more than necessary to safeguard this momentum of unity and this consensus around the appeasement of the political space\u201d, he launched.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0It is in true peace that we can build a prosperous Nation, work in joy, improve the living conditions of all our compatriots\u00a0\u00bb, he said.<\/p>\n

Selon lui, l\u2019Ai\u0308d el Ke\u0301bir est \u00bbune occasion \u00bb de \u00bbrendre gra\u0302ce a\u0300 Dieu et de prier pour la paix, l\u2019unite\u0301 et la concorde dans notre pays en mettant l\u2019inte\u0301re\u0302t du Se\u0301ne\u0301gal au-dessus de toute autre conside\u0301ration \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le Premier ministre a assure\u0301 que le pre\u0301sident de la Re\u0301publique et son gouvernement \u2018\u2019sont conscients des enjeux et de\u0301fis de l\u2019heure au regard des menaces se\u0301curitaires\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

The public authorities \u00ab\u00a0are also aware of the dangers of radical extremism which seeks to annihilate the foundations of the State and to attack the peaceful religious model of Senegal with the aim of imposing on us ideologies and practices which have no produced elsewhere than violence and chaos,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He underlined that the Tabaski which \u00ab\u00a0perpetuates the tradition of the prophet\u00a0\u00bb is the celebration \u00ab\u00a0of unity and cohesion around a higher ideal, the Oneness of God as illustrated so well by the family of Abraham\u00a0\u00bb. .<\/p>\n

Eid el-Ke\u0301bir is also, according to him, \u201cthe feast of mercy that God shows to believers when they submit to his Will\u201d.<\/p>\n

Continuing his remarks, Mr. Ba indicated that it is \u201cthe festival of transcendence which symbolizes the triumph of the person over the ego and the promotion of fundamental values \u200b\u200bsuch as peace, respect and solidarity\u201d.<\/p>\n

La Tabaski \u00ab\u00a0offers us the pleasant opportunity to strengthen family ties and to express our compassion for those among us who are in need\u00a0\u00bb, he further noted.<\/p>\n
