Africa-Press – Senegal. <\/strong><\/span>The Senegal Cup final between ASC les Jaraaf and Stade de Mbour, initially scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Sunday to comply with the agenda of the President of the Republic which should attend the meeting, explained the president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), Augustin Senghor.<\/p>\n

The postponement of the final from Saturday to Sunday will coincide with the second leg of the first preliminary round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League between Generation Foot and Hafia FC of Guinea, scheduled at the Lat Dior stadium at 7 p.m. in Thies. The two teams had drawn 0-0 in the first leg in Conakry.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0These are circumstances beyond our control and we have to adapt. If we have the possibility of having the head of state in this final, we cannot refute it. The Senegal Cup being endowed with the trophy of the Head of State, we fall under the prism of the agenda of the President of the Republic. We tried to find a solution without success,\u201d he explained. According to him, this situation \u201cwas not desirable\u201d.<\/p>\n
