La preuve en images\u2026 Si Macky Sall n\u2019a pas invent\u00e9 la transhumance politique, il aura n\u00e9anmoins contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 hisser ce travers de la politique s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise \u00e0 des sommets rarement atteints. Le 11 d\u00e9cembre, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la remise du prix Macky Sall pour le dialogue en Afrique 2020, le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat affirmait une nouvelle fois ses envies h\u00e9g\u00e9moniques.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Je remercie Idrissa Seck et tous ceux qui, comme lui, ont eu le courage de dialoguer, d\u00e9clarait-il alors. Il faut du courage pour dialoguer. Quel est le pr\u00e9sident qui ne voudrait pas prendre le candidat arriv\u00e9 deuxi\u00e8me apr\u00e8s lui ? [\u2026] Plus de 85 % de l\u2019\u00e9lectorat se retrouve aujourd\u2019hui dans le camp de la majorit\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Si Idrissa Seck, tour \u00e0 tour alli\u00e9 et adversaire, puis \u00e0 nouveau alli\u00e9 depuis le d\u00e9but de novembre, est la derni\u00e8re \u00ab prise \u00bb en date de Macky Sall, bien d\u2019autres leaders politiques l\u2019avaient pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 dans les prairies \u00ab marron-beige \u00bb de la coalition pr\u00e9sidentielle Benno Bokk Yakaar. Le Parti d\u00e9mocratique s\u00e9n\u00e9galais (PDS) d\u2019Abdoulaye Wade, principale force d\u2019opposition depuis 2012, a ainsi v\u00e9cu une interminable h\u00e9morragie qui l\u2019a laiss\u00e9 exsangue.<\/p>\n

Au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, pourtant, la transhumance a mauvaise presse. Qu\u2019on se souvienne, par exemple, des propos sans nuances tenus en 2015 par Souleymane Nd\u00e9n\u00e9 Ndiaye, qui fut le dernier Premier ministre d\u2019Abdoulaye Wade : \u00ab Ils doivent \u00eatre ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s ! Les transhumants doivent \u00eatre fusill\u00e9s, ce sont des tra\u00eetres ! [\u2026] Tous ceux qui ont quitt\u00e9 le PDS pour rejoindre l\u2019APR sont des tra\u00eetres. Moi, je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re mourir que de faire \u00e7a ! \u00bb<\/p>\n

Deux ans plus tard, le ton avait chang\u00e9 : \u00ab Apr\u00e8s m\u00fbre r\u00e9flexion, j\u2019ai donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de serrer la main tendue par Macky Sall. J\u2019accepte avec mon parti, l\u2019Union nationale pour le peuple, de participer \u00e0 \u00e9largir la majorit\u00e9 pr\u00e9sidentielle \u00bb, faisait savoir Souleymane Nd\u00e9n\u00e9 Ndiaye. Aujourd\u2019hui, l\u2019int\u00e9ress\u00e9 est pr\u00e9sident du conseil d\u2019administration de la compagnie Air S\u00e9n\u00e9gal.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Unit\u00e9 nationale \u00bb, \u00ab int\u00e9r\u00eat sup\u00e9rieur de l\u2019\u00c9tat \u00bb, \u00ab main tendue \u00bb\u2026 Les arguments honorables ne manquent pas pour justifier les revirements politiques qui conduisent nombre d\u2019opposants \u00e0 rejoindre en file indienne le camp au pouvoir en attendant des jours meilleurs.
