Africa-Press<\/a> – Senegal<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Dakar, 8 mai (APS) – Lamine Diack, ancien pr\u00e9sident de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration internationale d\u2019athl\u00e9tisme (IAAF) en r\u00e9sidence surveill\u00e9e en France depuis novembre 2015, sera \u00e0 Dakar ce dimanche, a appris l\u2019APS de source proche du dossier.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Le pr\u00e9sident Diack sera parmi nous ce dimanche\u2019\u2019, a indiqu\u00e9 la m\u00eame source r\u00e9it\u00e9rant la volont\u00e9 de l\u2019int\u00e9ress\u00e9 qui ne souhaite pas que ce retour soit transform\u00e9 en accueil populaire.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il ne veut pas d\u2019accueil populaire, au contraire, il sollicite des pri\u00e8res pour que justice soit faite dans cette affaire puisqu\u2019ayant fait appel de sa condamnation par la justice fran\u00e7aise\u00a0\u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 la m\u00eame source confirmant qu\u2019il \u00e9tait en possession de son passeport depuis mercredi dernier. Lamine Diack, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 87 ans, en r\u00e9sidence surveill\u00e9e depuis novembre 2015 en France, a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 par la justice fran\u00e7aise, le 20 septembre dernier, \u00e0 quatre ans de prison, dont deux ferme, pour son \u00ab\u00a0implication dans un r\u00e9seau de corruption destin\u00e9 \u00e0 cacher des cas de dopage en Russie\u00a0\u00bb. Il avait b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 le 30 d\u00e9cembre dernier d\u2019une lev\u00e9e de la mesure d\u2019interdiction de quitter le territoire fran\u00e7ais dont il faisait l\u2019objet, contre le paiement d\u2019une caution de 500000 euros, soit un peu plus de 327 millions de francs CFA. Le Jaraaf de Dakar, son club de toujours dont il fut le pr\u00e9sident pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de payer cette caution lors d\u2019une assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale extraordinaire tenue \u00e0 Dakar le 18 avril dernier. A son retour, Lamine Diack a pr\u00e9vu d\u2019aller se recueillir sur la tombe de ses parents et saluer son grand-fr\u00e8re Alioune Diack, un ancien entra\u00eeneur de football centenaire depuis l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, apprend-on de m\u00eame source.
