Africa-Press – Seychelles. The local men’s selection taking part in the ongoing Confédération Africaine de Volleyball Senior Beach volleyball championship in Agadir, Morocco exited the competition after suffering a second defeat in the group stage.
After losing their first match 0-2 (15-21, 17-21) to Congo on Wednesday, yesterday Ricky Vel and Gerry Lozaique lost their second group C match 0-2 (7-21, 11-21) to Mozambique.
Without a win in the group stage, the duo exited the competition after finishing last.
As for the women’s selection of Hillary Nourrice and Angelique Adeline, after losing their first match 0-2 (9-21, 11-21) against Mauritius, they lost their second group match against Morocco 0-2 (14-21, 12-21) yesterday.
They have one more match to play against Sierra Leone.
